Implantology Division
The Implantology Division focuses on the scope and effectiveness of pre-prosthetic surgery, including the application of dental implants ( Astra Tech, Brånemarks System, ITI Dental Implant Systems) alone or in combination with other surgical treatments. Successful implant treatment
require strong teamwork between specialists. The Maxuh offers a unique clinical
opportunity in oral implantology, with co-ordinated multidisciplinary clinical training from teams with expertise in surgical, prosthodontic, and periodontal fields. The implant team
provides a comprehensive range of advanced treatment to rehabilitate patients.
- The Implantology Division provides a scientific and evidence-based clinical service, in close collaboration with consultants specialists in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontology, Prosthodontic rehabilitation and Dento- Maxillofacial Radiology.
In jaws with inadequate bone volume for implants, the alveolar crest can be restored using
autogenous bone grafts. This procedure makes it possible to place titanium implants
and rehabilitate the patients with fixed bridgework or
removable over-dentures.
- Since 1986, reconstructive surgery has been performed on
over 1000 patients. The experience acquired from our advanced works in
the maxillae with an advanced state of atrophy, is well documented and has been published in international scientific journals.
