Paediatric Dentistry Division
 The Paediatric Dentistry Division has two specialist consultants,
providing dental care to pre-school, schoolchildren, and young adults with special needs. The patients are referred from physicians, public dental practitioners, and private dentists within the County of Halland.
Main reasons for care are rampant caries, in combination with low age and anxiety, trauma, and different developmental disturbances. In-house referrals of medically compromised children occur and programs are available for those with common chronic diseases. Consulting activities for handicapped disabled children are available on a regular base. The team offers all methods for sedation, from nitrous oxygen to general
anaesthesia.
